About me
I’m a cinematographer from New Zealand with a portfolio spanning more than 15 years. My work covers a wide range of visual storytelling, including commercial and documentary. I bring the same eye for story and detail to every project, whatever the scale.
Over the years I’ve partnered with brands and organisations to help them find their voice and turn their ideas into films that connect with people. I love being part of the whole journey, from shaping the concept and strategy through to shooting and seeing the finished piece land with its audience.
My documentary work has taken me around the world, from filming advocacy campaigns in Bangladesh to telling stories about sorcery in Papua New Guinea. Those experiences shaped how I approach every shoot, with a focus on listening, building trust and finding the human story that makes a film stick with people long after they’ve watched it.
I’m always chasing projects that push me creatively, whether that’s trying a new visual style, experimenting with how a story is told or collaborating with people who bring fresh ideas to the table. I love work that challenges me to think differently and gives me room to play with the craft.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me out in the hills mountain running, hiking or skiing.
